Three cards

I've got three cards to show today! The first two are made with Crate Paper's Poolside 6x6 paperpad.

The next card is made with Newton's Nook stamps for a couple who celebrate their first anniversary. They have been the proud owners of a cat since a couple of weeks, so I thought that these stamps would fit perfectly. Don't you love that little mouse?

I'm lagging behind with reading your blogs. Hopefully I can catch up with it in the coming week. Summerbreak is winking, but the last weeks before it really starts off will be quite tough as always...
Enjoy your weekend!

more design papers...

I promised you more cards made with desing papers. Last week I dug in my stash of papers and found the paperline form October Afternoon. I think it is one of four years ago. When I bought the paper pad and some 30x30 papers I didn't use it too much. Too afraid of finishing the papers too quickly. The result is that I still have many leftovers of this line. So, I've made two cards.

With the papers sent by Cornelie I made another card:

Thanks for coming by and enjoy your weekend!

Lift challenge #87

When I saw the current liftchallenge I knew that I wanted to lift this card for a special occassion. Last week Marit gave birth to a little girl. Of course I had to make her a special card. I used some papers from Fancy Pants (see this post). The stamps with the hedgehog and umbrella are from Mama Elephant. I stamped the name with Lawn Fawn Milo's ABC. As you can see I adjusted the card a little. I started with a background and used the sketch of the lift card. However, the little hedgehog is looking to the right. I didn't like that little guy standing on the right side of the card looking somewhere far away. That is why I decided to put the cluster of banners, squares, buttons and stamps to the left side and stamp the name on the right side.

The post did a good job and deliverd the card today, Marit wrote me! Always a bit afraid that a card will get lost somewhere in that huge pile of cards, letters and packages...

Thanks for hopping by!

Cats!

A stampset with cats had been on my wishlist for a very long time, but I couldn't find one I really liked or it was only available in the USA . When MFT released their cats I tried to get my hand on them, but they were sold out so quickly. A couple of weeks ago I found a webshop in the UK where many American brands are sold. The shipping is very reasonable and they had a nice cat set from Newton's Nook. And here are two cards with adorable cats! The first one made with a watercolour smooshing technique. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. The second card is made with distress inks and some masking.

I've made these cards a couple of weeks ago. This week I am quite busy with design papers!
