Oldie again

Dear all,

I have to study a lot these days for the tests in June (teacher training course for English), so no card making or anything like that. Today I show you one from the old box, but still a nice one! Very easy, but great effect. Well, okay, that's my opinion!
I used paper from October afternoon. I sent it to my niece and she showed it for a long time in her living room!

For our 6th wedding anniversary last Friday my husband booked a Bed & Breakfast. It was a cosy room and I fell in love with the veranda. Unfortunately the weather wasn't so warm to use it!

And next trip is waiting. Next Saturday a friend and I will go to Cambridge, UK. We'll attend a Language School. It is part of my course. Not the worst part, I guess! If anyone knows a craft store, please let me know!

Thanks for visiting!

WMS sketch challenge 48

Hi!

I made this card for our aunt and uncle who have been married for 50 years! I used the sketch from WMSC and paper from Emma's shoppe (Crate paper). The background is from the WMS Off Beat stamp set and I stamped it with Antique Linen. The flower die is from Marianne Design.
Thank you, Edna, for this sketch!

I made some cards!

Life seems almost normal after a week in Romania. Laundry is done, the mess is away and the students who were with us last week in Romania for the exhange program gave us a very good mark for the organisation! That gives a good feeling! And time to make some cards!

The first card is a 'get well' card! I stamped a background with 'text it' from Waltzingmouse Stamps and antique linen ink and I used a flower from the stampset 'up, up and away' from PTI. I stitched with the sewing machine without a thread. So you get just some holes, but it gives a nice detail to the card.

The post stamps are from PTI. Unfortunatly I don't have this set, but Marit offered me to have swap. Thanks a lot, Marit!! It is a pity that dispatching from PTI (the USA) is so expensive. PTI has so many beautiful stamp sets. So if you know someone who could arrange something, let me know :)

The other one is a 'with sympathy' card. I used again the doily stamps from MME. I love this set. I stamped again a background with 'text it' and stamped the doily with Paris Dusk from Memento.

Have a nice weekend!

I'm back!

Hi all!

I'm back home after a wonderful week in Romania with very nice students, beautiful weather and many great meetings with friends overthere! Now trying to find my rythm back, but have some difficulties with it :)
I haven't made any card yet. So I show an older one for today. It was one of my first cards where I used antique linen ink from Ranger. Now I use it almost every time!

And I like to share some of the pictures of last Wednesday when we made a trip to a salt mine and a canyon in Romania! This country has so many beautiful places. Unfortunately, most people still have a wrong image of this country. So a little PR will help maybe!

Thinking of you

I made this card for friends who have been going through difficult times. I hope it cheers them up a little bit.

As you can see Emma's shoppe is my favorite at this moment :) Although there are many more beautiful paper lines. Maybe my next challenge is to make a card with another paper line!

I have started the countdown for my trip to Romania. Next Thursday I'll leave for 9 days with a groups of teenagers for an exchange with a school in Cluj-Napoca. Looking forward to see friends and acquintances overthere! So, I'm not sure when posting the next message!

See you!
