A passion for Papertrey Challenge - Invitations

The challenge from A passion for Papertrey for this time has to do with parties and invitations! Last September we had our annual family reunion and I made the invitations. I used the polka dot basics and  Up, up & away stamps set.

I used Basic Grey - Olivia for the ballloons. When I see them now, maybe I would do something different to give a little more details on the card. Like a piece of cardstock to make a small frame or use some ribbon somewhere. But when I made those cards I really love them. And in fact, I still do!

Thanks for visiting!

The cow-card

A couple of months ago I bought a paper with elements from Cosmo Cricket - Garden Variety . I didn't have a clue what to do exactly with the elements. So I have chosen a simple way with some stitching, a frame from blue cardstock and a red/white twine bow. Perfect for a boy, don't you think? I'm sorry for the colours. It is still very grey and cloudy... Not really good weather for a photo shoot.

WMS Sketch challenge # 35

A couple of weeks ago I made this card for a little boy who was born. When I saw the sketch for this week from the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge I thought: this card fits perfectly for this week!
The background paper is from Jillibean, the stars are made from Sassafras Lass (Indie Girl). The stamp is from Eline Pellinkhof.

Thinking of you

I really like the stamp set of Teeny Trees! When I combine it with outher papers, shape and colours, it seems to be a whole new card. For this card I used paper from October Afternoon, stamps from Papertrey Ink (vintage labels, sentiment from up, up and away). The background is from WMS Text it.

PTI Blog hop February - Say it with flowers!

Wednesday I told you about the roses I made with scrappaper. Here is a result! The leaves-die is from Marianne Design. The sentiment comes from the Up, up and Away stamp set from PTI. The background is from Waltzingmouse.

Have a nice weekend!

Extra: PTI dedicates the Blog Hop for this month to scallops! Well, in this card scallops are used (scalloped circle and the flowers are made with a scalloped circle). So that's why I linked this message to PTI Blop hop!

WMS Challenge #34

Yesterday evening I made my card for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge for this week. This is the sketch:

This cute boy shows my card .

I saw on you tube the technic to make the roses. So I tried and this was my result with felt! I really like them. And it is so easy to do! I made more with scrappaper. There is just one question: do the postman like the roses also? Or would it be destroyed when you send a card with these roses to someone?

For the background I used Text it and the sentiment is from Teeny Trees. Both sets are from Waltzingmouse.

Thank you for your visit!

Hip hip hooray! WMSC #33

I made a card this afternoon for the Papertrey Ink contest. Unfortunately I am too late for it! The contest is closed already. The airplane and the die with hip hip hooray -stamp are from Papertrey Ink.
With a little bit of fantasy I used for this card Waltzingmouse sketch challenge #33!

I used for the background the Off beat background stamp and Text it .

Cupcakes

I love cupcakes!! Last week I made them twice. The first time for the ladies from my sewing-group. I stamped for each of them a label and bound it to the cupcake with baker's twine.

Last Saturday we took care for three of our nephews and we decorated the cupcakes together. They were delicious!

7 years old Thijs decorated these three above! His fantasy is great and he went his one way. The other boys were more standard and theirs looked like mine, but they had fun!  And I made these:

Inspired by PiP

Do you know PiP studio? They design and sell the most beautiful stuff'! The card I like to show today is a little bit inspired by PiP. The papers are from Eline's Huis (In the meadow) and the bird die is from Marianne Design. The polka dot paper is from the Christmas line of Cosmo Cricket, but it matches perfect!
