Hip hip hooray!

Again my favorite sketch for today! Love this so much :) The used paperline is Echo park's This and That - Graceful. I made the ruler-border just by cutting a strip of the ruler design paper. The flower design is so pretty, isn't it? Sentiment is by PTI.

Have a very nice weekend!

Echo park - van harte

Just a very quick post before leaving for my lectures tonight. Have to leave at 3pm. Back at 11.30pm. That makes it a long night, but I still like my studies a lot!
I warned you for the tissue paper flowers in my previous post :)  Here is another one! For this card I used Echo Park - This and That Graceful. Some papers and the journalings. Great stuff to work with! I stamped dots with PTI Polka Dots to give a bit more to the background paper.

Thanks for coming by!

Follow your heart!

Saturday evening my husband arrived  back home safely! And so did our photo camera! After my classes this afternoon I made first some pictures of the cards made last week. I will share them in the coming days.

First a card made with My Mind's Eye - Follow your heart. A lovely paper line with soft pastels and vintage pictures. I made a mix with the papers and seam binding. Last week I saw the idea of working with tissue paper in a Dutch craft magazine. I had to buy this kind of paper and did some experiments with it. I think you will see it more in the near future! I punched some (scalloped) circles out of five layers of tissue papers and put them together. The flower is inked with distress ink (victorian velvet). The sentiment is from the stamp set Cute as a button from Maya road.

Judith was so kind to make me some pictures of the card I sent her for her birthday last week (see my previous post). And of course I'd like to show the result. I'm glad to hear she was happy with her birthday card!

Thanks for coming by and enjoy this beautiful evening! I love spring!

Happy Birthday to Judith!

Also Judith left me a comment with a hint about her birthday in the near future like Cornelie did! Actually, Judith was the first with a comment about it! And of course I took the challenge to make her a nice birthday card. Dear Judith, happy birthday!! I wish you all the best and many creative years to come! Please, hop over to her blog and wish her a happy birthday!
Unfortunately I can't show you the card as I don't have a camera right now. But I can show you some of the papers I used for this card:

I love this line! Is contains beautiful prints and colors and gives many oppurtunities to mix and match!
I hope the card arrived on time and Judith will like it too!
And I promise you to come back next week with pictures!

By the way, you can give a hint as well, but I guess it doesn't work anymore ;)

Birthday flowers

Unfortunately I don't have a photocamera available for the coming week as my dear husband is on a trip and took it with him. That will make blogging a bit difficult, so I take a little blog break. But for today I have just one card left in my 'photo archives'. I wasn't very happy with the result, but the papers did a good job (October afternoon).

I'm looking forward to tomorrow as we will visit Utrecht. First we will visit the market for buying fabrics and after that we will have a search for nice shops and other places!!
And for the coming days I'll wait for the postman as I just ordered papers of 'This & That Graceful' by Echopark and 'Follow your heart' by My Mind's Eye! Love both lines. I will not be bored next week when I'm home alone. And when my husband and the camera are back I will definitely show you the pictures!

Have a very nice weekend and thanks for coming by!

Easy peasy

Yesterday I spent only a very short time in my 'atelier'. The afternoon was used for getting vitamines in the sun!! I made a quick and easy card. I would say: really CAS with scrappapers! Again made with Happy days by Simple stories! The sentiment is from Pipoos and some buttons for the finishing touch!

Enjoy this Monday! Here again with lots of sunshine!!
Thanks for coming by!

Happy Birthday, Cornelie!

Once upon a time a very nice reader of my blog left me a comment and dropped the hint: 'My birthday isn't far away anymore'... Well, Cornelie, that hint was very clear! I wish you a very happy birthday and wish you many more years to come! May you be able to produce lots and lots of cards and inspire others by your lovely blogposts.

I think the postman has delivered the card by this time, so I can show it to all of you and of course, you can head over to Cornelie's blog and congratulate her on this special day!

For this card I used a paper pad of Simple Stories - Happy day.

Thanks for coming by and wishing you a lovely evening!

And Cornelie, does this one count as well for your give away??

With love

I can't believe that March has been arrived! Days are flying and sometimes days are gone without doing any crafty thing... Do you recognize this problem?

This card is made with October Afternoon's Sidewalks and stamps by Pipoos. Some sewing, twine and ribbon are the finishing touch! Hope you like it!

Enjoy this Monday evening!
