Crochet

Today no cards but another project . I like too many things to do: cards making, quilting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, cooking and so on. You'll perhaps understand that my days are too short. To be honest, I know from everything a little bit and I'm not a star in anything. But I like diversity :) So, after visiting some blog's where crochet was showed (e.g. here and there ) I decided to find my crochet needle somewhere in my cupboard and started with some small projects, like a candle light holder. Two weeks ago I bought cotton for a baby blanket. But I think I will safe it for my own couch :)

So I will crochet while watching the royal wedding!

Have fun and thanks for visiting!

P.s. the pattern of this blanket you can find here

Happy Birthday to our niece!

Today our niece becomes a teenager! I made her this card with Jillibean's Blossom Soup.

As an extra present I made her a corsage. My sister in law made a very nice skirt in aqua blue-white polkadot (the same fabric as in the corsage). This corsage fits perfect with that skirt and a white shirt, don't you think? Hm, Pien isn't really convinced...

Do I have to wake up for this?? Okay, okay, I will show it...

Have a nice day!

Doilies

Last week I received my order from scrapbookdepot with a lot of stuff. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera that so I wasn't able to make a picture of it. I ordered papers and chipboard images from Crate Paper - Emma's shoppe and papers from Jillibean's blossom soup! I love the colors. And I have been fallen in love with the doily stamps from My Mind's eye Stella & Rose. This week I made a 'new' start with cardmaking after many weeks... And hopefully also a new start with this blog!

I'd like to show two birthday cards I made with the doily stamps. First one is made in red and pinks. I stamped the background with text-it from Waltzingmouse and antique linen ink. For the red and pink I used Versamagic inks.
For the second card I used Memonto Dewdrops. Those are wonderful inks and they don't color your stamps. So the stamps are still clear after using!

Thanks for your visit!
