Love

A couple of weeks ago Judith sent me a birthday card and a little present which made me very happy: Lawn Fawn's word die 'Love'. This weekend I created two cards with the die.

For the first card I made a background using a sponge dauber and SU ink. I just draw stripes. I die cut a circle out of vellum, added thread and stamped a small heart, also from Lawn Fawn. I finally adhered the die cut with some foam tape to the circle.

The second card is a shaker card. I die cut tiny hearts with a Lawn Fawn border die and mixed those hearts with sequins. I created a design paper with glimmer mist and a mask (yep, did it before here  )

Did you know that when you rub the transparency sheet, the little hearts stick to the sheet? So, they won't fall down at the bottom of the shaker part!

At DCL they challenged us to use a transparency sheet, well here it is!

Judith, thanks a lot for this present!

Retro

I used to create several cards a week, but I hardly remember that time. In the previous month I worked on one card. Here it is, made with Crate Paper and really an easy lay-out. The flower is a vellum one. It looks a bit retro.

However, I worked on some other projects as well. I am knitting a skirt for our niece. It was my Christmas holiday project, but I haven't finished it yet.

For our birthdays we have treated ourselves with a new photo camera and as a teacher I could buy a set with Adobe's Lightroom, Photoshop and some other programmes for a very reasonable price (read: very cheap) at a special company. It is one big experiment of taking pictures and editing. Love it!

And of course our cats have been our photo models many times. This is Pien:

You may wonder what I am doing in the remaining time. Well, most of my spare time I spend on studying. Not the most creative activity unfortunately...
Thanks for coming by!
