You are awesome!

Quite a simple card today. I've got many die-cuts with sentiments I don't use very easily. Like the one today. But I thought for a couple who is getting married it is a perfect sentiment. They are young, very pretty and I'm sure the will look awesome in their wedding suit and dress. I used stuff from American Crafts - Dear Lizzy.

This month is a favourite time for weddings. So, more wedding cards to make i the coming days!

Smile - Hello - Hey!

I'm enjoying my last week of summer holiday. It feels I have had a break for months! But this week I have to prepare myself little by little for the upcoming events at school. Of course, I'm curious for my new students and I'm looking forward to finish my studies next schoolyear. So, for sure I will be a little homesick to my holidays next week, but I'm quite sure I will enjoy daily life as well. It will be good to be back in the rythm.

This card was made two weeks ago for a blogfriend who received a little parcel for a belated birthday present. It is made with Dear Lizzy Papers (American Craft), Jillibean's Stamps (sentiments), wooden embellishment from Studio Calico and the stamped arrows are from Amy Tangerine's stampset (I told you about in this post). For sure a card which gave me a summer feeling!

In my previous post I showed you some baby projects. Today one picture from our little newphew accompanied by the owls. Isn't he cute?

That's it for today! Thanks for coming by!

baby project

During our holiday a little nephew was born. And of course he would have some homemade baby projects. When Marianne Design launched their owl die, I knew I would do something with it for this baby and thought of making a pram or maxi cosi toy. It was a bit hard to choose colours, but finally I decided to use aqua blue, lime green and some greys. And for the second shape I chose a star. I used some gingham ribbon and a little bell for the finishing touch.

Secondly, I made some bibs with cotton and a cuddle cloth I showed you before. You can find the pattern here.

By the way, the black cord which is still visible on the pictures has gone. I cut them off after fitting on the pram.
As you probably can imagine, I was very happy with these projects and so were the parents!

Thanks for coming by. Enjoy your day!

Say hello to the camera!

When I ordered a couple of things here I stumbled upon a stampset of Amy Tangerine. I have seen LO's from her before, but never seen her products. One stampset called me: 'buy me, I'm nice'. So, I did (I'm very obedient...). One stamp I like in particular and that's the camera. Nowadays you see them everywhere in the 'Project Life' albums, but it works very well on a card as well. I coloured the camera in colours I liked, without any idea how to use it in a card. When I finished colouring I didn't now what to do, as I couldn't think of any matching paperline. Fortunately, I ordered in the same order also a paperpad of Studio Calico, Snippets. I didn't have a proper look at it  yet, but some of the papers matched perfectly with my colouring. So I cut two strips. Stamped a grid (from the same Amy Tangerine set), added some glimmermist, cut out the Hello sentiment, choose a wood veneer embellishment and put all the ingredients together with some stitching and staples.

I'm sure more cameras will follow!
Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy!

Today's card has been made with American Craft's Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm. 6x6 paperpad has a versatile papers with flowers, geometric patterns, dots and stripes! Perfect for mixing up papers what I did with pleasure. I used the same idea as the card in my previous post and put two papers together. I punched a circle and add a star from the embellishment set. After stamping the sentiment and putting all stuff together, the card was still empty and not really attractive. So, I cut out two little notebookpages (from the same paper pad), did some stitching and thought: why not adding some glimmer mist? Last but not least some staples and I was satisfied!

I'm enjoying my coffee at the moment and after posting I'm off for the the weekly market. I love to buy my vegetables, cheese and other stuff at our local market, but usually I have to work on Tuesdays. So, during holidays I have to grab my change! I will definitely enjoy my day. Hopefully you as well!

Back in town

After having had a wonderful holiday we are back home! And between laundry, stocking our fridge and reading newspapers from the past few weeks I have already made one card! SU papers and ink meet Papertrey's stamps:

Quite a simple card, but I was in a hurry as I needed the card for a birthday party yesterday evening.
More projects are waiting to work on for next week and I'm looking forward to it. And I soon start reading new blogposts, curious what you have been working on!

See you soon!
