PTI Botanical Silhouettes

Thanks to Marit who recommended Ebay to me for trying to buy PTI stamp sets, I received last week the 4th anniversary set of PTI. As you can imagine I played a lot with it the last couple of days! I fell in love with it. And of course I'd like to share some of the cards with you! Today card 1:

Masculine card

This card is for a cousin. Sometimes it is so hard for me to make a masculine card, but this time it was easier. My inspiration came from the post man and the stamps of Eline Pellinkhof are very useful for this idea. I stamped the background with Off Beat from WMS. The rig rag stamp has been used for the very first time. Before I didn't have a clue how to use it . Again a border made with the sewing machine without a thread.

Thanks for coming by and have a nice weekend!

Stamps: Eline Pellinkhof, WMS and PTI
Ink: Memento Lady Bug, Paris Dusk, Tuxedo Black, Ranger Distress ink Old Paper
Paper: Bazill cardstock

Clean and simple

I made two cards which were very easy to make! Just stamping a background, a sentiment and punching some flowers and sew them. I made a border with the sewing machine, but without a thread. So just holes. That's all! Very useful if you need a card and don't have a lot of time.

Enjoy your day!

With sympathy

Before I left for children's camp I had to make a 'with sympathy' card for someone who lost her mother. I agree with many card makers that those cards are the hardest to make. But I'm very satisfied with the result. The idea of the sketch is the same as I did before.

Okay, back to work now in our living room!

Ink: Antique Linen (ranger), Memento Tuxedo Black, Paris Dusk and Peart Tart

One sketch - three cards (part 3)

The last one is again made with Emma's shoppe. Is the rig rag ribbon a good choice or not?

The next card I made for a family who will take care of a very young foster child. Welcom little one!

The summer holidays have started and the following weeks are full with helping in a children's camp, some renovation in our house and our holiday. So I'm not sure when I will make cards and post again a blog message. For sure I will visit other blogs!

I wish you all a very nice summer! Enjoy it!

One sketch - three cards (part 2)

Today I show the card made with papers from October Afternoon. Totally different look, isn't it?

See you tomorrow!

One sketch - three cards (part 1)

Yesterday evening I made three cards with the same sketch, but with a different look as I used various design papers. Today I show card one. Papers are from Emma's shoppe. The paper at the bottom is inked and stamped with Antique linen. The stamp is the grid from WMS Off Beat. Sentiment from WMS Teeny Trees.

Thank you for coming by and see you tomorrow!

Get well soon!

For this card I stamped the background with WMS Off Beat in Pearlescent Poppy (Tsukineko). The front paper has been stamped with a grid stamp (also Off Beat) in Antique Linen. The doilies by My mind's eye have been stamped with Pink Petunia and again Pearlescent Poppy. I love this color combo! A gem in the middle of the doily is the real finishing touch.

Have a nice day!
