WMS Sketch challenge #40

It has been a long time ago since I blogged something. It has been very busy weeks and I didn't do much creative activities. But yesterday I made a name banner in stead of a babycard for a little girl who is born into a family of our church. And this morning I saw the sketch for this week from Waltzingmouse. Easy-peasy for this week for me! I made it already. That's real fun!! Well, to be honest, it's not really a look-a-like, but I hope you'll like it!
This is the sketch...

And this is my banner:

I used paper from Eline Pellinkhof . The letters are from cuttlekids alphabet.
Hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks for visiting!

WMS Challenge Sketch # 38 and a flower corsage

Here is my contribution for the Challenge Sketch from Waltzingmouse for this week. This is the sketch:

And this is my card:

I used off beat backgrounds from WMS, Polka dot basics from PTI and the sentiment is also from PTI. The cupcake die is very new to me. I bought it this morning in our local craft shop. The die is designed by Marianne Design.

I like to show a flower corsage as well. The quality of the picture could be better, but it gives an idea. Just made with felt and several sizes of scalloped circles.

Thank you for your visit!

WMS sketch challenge # 37

It has been a busy week and I didn't make any card for this week... For the WMS sketch challenge I use a card I made last summer. Unfortunately I didn't have WMS stamps at that time. But it fits perfectly with the challenge, so I like to post it as it is allowed to post a card without WMS stamps.

I used papers from the Girls Paperie and Pebbles.

Thank you, ladies from WMS Sketch Challenge for this sketch!

WMS Sketch Challenge # 36

Hooray hooray, finally the sun is shining here after many grey days!! Spring is coming! So I made a card for the WMS Challenge #36  with some spring colours! This is the sketch for this week:

Two weeks ago I get the flower die by Marianne Design. It is a set from 5 different sizes and I used it for many times till now. I die cut the flowers with Basic grey Hopscotch.
I stamped the background with the WMS Off beat background in Pear green. The sentiment from Teeny trees is stamped on the smallest of Labels 1 by Spellbinders. The frame for labels 1 is stamped with the PTI set.

I think I'll send this card to my sister who lives and works in Brazil!! Thanks for visiting and hopefully you can enjoy sunshine as well for today!

again hot air balloons

Like I wrote yesterday I wasn't satisfied about the invitation cards with the hot air balloons. Tomorrow a friend celebrates his birtday so I made him a card with the up, up and away stampset with the thoughts I had yesterday.

I used the Offbeat background stampset from WMS, some stitching and the Swiss dots stencil for the circle.
And a final detail a red-white twine. I bought many meters of this twine in a shop for kitchen stuff and I love to use it. Scrap paper is from 'the girls' paperie'.

This stampset has so much possibilities in it and I think this card is one of the many ideas I have. So in the near future I suppose I will make more cards with it!
