Home sweet home

I can't stop making cards with Lawn Fawn's stampsets. But I guess you don't mind, according to the lovely comments on my previous post. Today two cards for you. The first one is made with the 'Home Sweet Home' set and the second with 'Into the Woods'.

Enjoy your weekend!

I am a big fan of Elena's work and she inspired me with this card using Lawn Fawn's 'Home Sweet Home' set. I had to make a card for a newborn son to a couple in our church, so I stamped his name on the banner. For the bottom of the card I used some paper from the Into the Woods line from Lawn Fawn.

So in love with this stamp set...

Howdy!

A couple of months ago I bought PTI's  'On the Farm' stamp set and dies. But until this weekend I hadn't worked with it that much. A pity, as it is a great set! So, I made two cards with this set last weekend. Great match with 'Boer zoekt Vrouw' (Farmer Wants a Wife), isn't it?

CFC #36 Sketch

Today a new challenge at the Crazy for Cas blog. This time a sketch for you. It could be a Valentine's card, but the sketch is absolutely versatile. I made a card using Crate Paper's Bundled Up and some wooden embellishments from Studio Calico.

And this is the sketch:

Hello!

This little skunk likes to say 'hello' to you all!

All materials by Lawn Fawn. Yep, it is an easy card, but I had to make it in a hurry :)

little baby bear

When I started stamping and creating cards I bought one of the baby stampsets by Eline Pellinkhof. Although I really admire her work, I actually don't use her stamps. It is not really my cup of tea. But it is a pity when a set is just lying in a box. That's why I challenged myself to use one of the stamps. Also for getting more experience with colouring. I chose the bear and made this card. Yep, same idea as in my previous post (strip of patterned on the left side, some stitching), but totally different outcome. Absolutely a CAS and quick baby card, isn't it?

Enjoy your weekend!

Mini Blooms

I don't do it very often, but mass production of cards is sometimes needed. I had to create a few birthday cards as well as some 'hello' cards. I sent only a few christmas cards, but I got more. I really wanted them to have a card back and for some others just for fun. So I made some "January" cards. Just to say hello! And don't you agree that receiving cards in January is even nicer in those gloomy days? So, I pulled out the  Mini Blooms set from Papertrey Ink and ink pads and got stamping! I added a strip of patterned paper from Simple Stories with some stitches and that was it! I made a bunch of cards and will make a few more. Easy for stash!

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day!

Braided shawl

My Christmas Holiday is over and my knitting project done!

I bought the wool on a Christmas market in Antwerp and got a free pattern. But it is available on the Internet as well, e.g. on the weblog of Jeanny, click here. Jeanny helped me by giving me some instructions. Thank you!

Thank you so much #CFC 125

The new challenge at the CAS-ual Friday Challenge blog is described as below:

Instead of a resolution, choose a word that describes what you hope for the new year. Maybe it's LOVE if you want to work on your relationships, or DO if you want to challenge yourself to something, or LAUGH if you want to lighten up, etc. Use that word as the inspiration for your card, and keep it Clean And Simple

A good word would be 'Thanks'. I think we don't often tell each other 'thank you' and maybe it is good to say this more frequently. So, for this challenge I made a 'Thank you' card for someone who took beautiful pictures of our family. That is why I used the paper from Crate Paper with the cameras. The sentiment is from a small set by Jillibean. Some staples, washi tape, stitches and polkadots to finish it off.

Thank you for dropping by and enjoy your day!
