CFC #42 Easter

Today a new challenge starts at the Crazy for Cas blog. It's all about Easter! For me Easter is the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ, but also a celebration of new life. That is why I made a combination of flowers and text. I used a masking technique with PTI's Ruby Rose, Avery Elle's banners and alphabet from Lawn Fawn.

Are you going to join us at CFC? You can link your creation until Friday 25 April. Hop over to the blog for more details and more inspiration.

Studies are almost finished. Hopefully I'll be finished in a month! Thank you for your support and lovely comments wishing me good luck!

CFC #40 Spring has sprung

The new challenge at the Crazy for Cas blog has got a beautiful picture as source of inspiration for you! Great colours, flowers and lovely animals, enough ideas to work with. It inspired me to create two squared cards. One inspired by the flowers, the other inspired by the animals.

And this is the inspiration picture:

For more details on this challenge hop over quickly to the CFC blog. You can join the challenge up to 29 March.

As you probably have mentioned I haven't post any card since the previous CFC-challenge and I'm not a regular visitor of your blogs as well. It has all to do with the final stage of my studies. I'm busy with my thesis and I'd like to focus on this job instead of other things. So, it is not because of desinterest of lack of inspiration, but I really like to finish my studies as soon as possible. It means a short blog break (so when I leave you a comment or post a card on my blog it is clear that I'm fed up with writing and reading ;) )

Enjoy your weekend!

Crazy for Cas #38 Doilies

Today a new challenge starts at the Crazy for Cas blog. Theme this time is 'doilies'. You are allowed to use whatever doily, except doilies on patterned paper. I used only a half one and combined it with papers from Studio Calico and a mask (very easy to work with!). Alphabeth stamps are from Lawn Fawn.

Hop over to the CFC blog for more information and looking forward to your creations!

Home sweet home

I can't stop making cards with Lawn Fawn's stampsets. But I guess you don't mind, according to the lovely comments on my previous post. Today two cards for you. The first one is made with the 'Home Sweet Home' set and the second with 'Into the Woods'.

Enjoy your weekend!

Tweet tweet

I am a big fan of Elena's work and she inspired me with this card using Lawn Fawn's 'Home Sweet Home' set. I had to make a card for a newborn son to a couple in our church, so I stamped his name on the banner. For the bottom of the card I used some paper from the Into the Woods line from Lawn Fawn.

So in love with this stamp set...

Howdy!

A couple of months ago I bought PTI's  'On the Farm' stamp set and dies. But until this weekend I hadn't worked with it that much. A pity, as it is a great set! So, I made two cards with this set last weekend. Great match with 'Boer zoekt Vrouw' (Farmer Wants a Wife), isn't it?

CFC #36 Sketch

Today a new challenge at the Crazy for Cas blog. This time a sketch for you. It could be a Valentine's card, but the sketch is absolutely versatile. I made a card using Crate Paper's Bundled Up and some wooden embellishments from Studio Calico.

And this is the sketch:

little baby bear

When I started stamping and creating cards I bought one of the baby stampsets by Eline Pellinkhof. Although I really admire her work, I actually don't use her stamps. It is not really my cup of tea. But it is a pity when a set is just lying in a box. That's why I challenged myself to use one of the stamps. Also for getting more experience with colouring. I chose the bear and made this card. Yep, same idea as in my previous post (strip of patterned on the left side, some stitching), but totally different outcome. Absolutely a CAS and quick baby card, isn't it?

Enjoy your weekend!

Mini Blooms

I don't do it very often, but mass production of cards is sometimes needed. I had to create a few birthday cards as well as some 'hello' cards. I sent only a few christmas cards, but I got more. I really wanted them to have a card back and for some others just for fun. So I made some "January" cards. Just to say hello! And don't you agree that receiving cards in January is even nicer in those gloomy days? So, I pulled out the  Mini Blooms set from Papertrey Ink and ink pads and got stamping! I added a strip of patterned paper from Simple Stories with some stitches and that was it! I made a bunch of cards and will make a few more. Easy for stash!

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day!
