Get well soon!

With some leftovers from 'Eline's huis - roses are red' I've made this card. The sentiment is stamped on a label four which I cut in two parts. The embroidered rose is a real eye-catcher. Maybe it is not really visible on the picture, but I put a small lace border, to give the card a vintage feeling. And to finish the card some strass in the left upper corner. Hope you like it!

My mother asked me to make a card for her quilt friend. I used the same idea from the butterflies card from last week, but now I used buttons (Dies from Joy). She was happy with the result!

It was nice having you here! Hope to see you next time!

Butterflies with love!

Butterflies are far away in these cold days, but lovely to work with. I made a card with a butterfly die, papers of Eline's Winterhuis - Happy and Bright and the stampset 'Cute as a button' (Maya Road).
I discover more and more possibilities with this paper line! And it makes my happy!

Thanks for your visit!

WMS Sketch challenge #82

The deadline is close to finish, but I'd like to squeeze in submitting this card to the WMS Sketch Challenge #82. It is such a lovely sketch. I adjust the sizes of the paper at the top, to give the flowers on the paper a bit more space.  I used WMS Text-it. It is perfect for this card. Papers are from 'Eline's Winterhuis' as well as the bird stamp. The sentiment is a PTI's set. The border is made with a Martha Stewart border punch. Some stitching, moss green seambinding, a button and twine and that's it!

And if you have visited my blog before you could have seen this sketch in an older post . Okay, maybe I'm not really original in this case, but I'm still in love with the combination of 'text it' and 'bird' LOL

The second card has the same top and is also stamped with text it in antique linen, the motif in red is a stamp from a set without a brand. The sentiment is a PTI one. The pink ribbon gives another atmosphere to this card.

I'd like to wish you a happy weekend! In the south west of the Netherlands where I live snow has started to fall down since an hour or so. It is amazing to see how quickly a white blanket has been created on everything. Beautiful!

Inspired by PiP

Do you know PiP studio? They design and sell the most beautiful stuff'! The card I like to show today is a little bit inspired by PiP. The papers are from Eline's Huis (In the meadow) and the bird die is from Marianne Design. The polka dot paper is from the Christmas line of Cosmo Cricket, but it matches perfect!
