Wedding card

No idea that I still could create such "sweet" cards... Hopefully it is not too sweet...
Today is Miranda's wedding day and of course I made her a card. I wanted to use my new Papertrey Ink set 'Floral Sketches' and some new inks. Turned out to be quite a romantic style, but in a way I liked it. I still have meters of ribbon. Don't use it anymore, but for this card is seemed to be perfect.  Maybe I should use it more often. The sentiment stamps are from Els BrigĂ© and are actually from a Christmas and New Year set, but when the set was released I saw a perfect stamps for wedding cards. The gingham paper is from MFT stamps.

That's it for now. Thanks for hopping by and see you soon somewhere in blogland!

You are awesome!

Quite a simple card today. I've got many die-cuts with sentiments I don't use very easily. Like the one today. But I thought for a couple who is getting married it is a perfect sentiment. They are young, very pretty and I'm sure the will look awesome in their wedding suit and dress. I used stuff from American Crafts - Dear Lizzy.

This month is a favourite time for weddings. So, more wedding cards to make i the coming days!

Together forever

The challenge on 'A Passion for Papertrey' is to provide your own inspiration piece and make a card based upon it. I had to design a card for a newly wed couple, so what 's easier than looking for a bridal bouquet? I found a beautiful one with summer colours and found matching colours in my ink stash. To symbolise the bridal veil I used vellum for embossing the sentiment on (from Clearly Besotted Stamps). The flowers are stamped with PTI's Ruby Rose. Papers are from American Craft. The background grid is stamped with WMS Off Beat.

I'm very happy with the result!

Love birds

My holiday has started! Looking forward to having a bit of free time and hopefully craft time! The holiday started well as I received two sets from Clearly Besotted Stamps  yesterday. I found these stamps last week on the Internet and as I was still looking for stamps for wedding and engagement cards I ordered the set Paired Up and a sentiment set. Perfect sets for  quick cards. Of course, I made some cards yesterday evening! Here they are:

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by!
