My study and work were not the only reason why I didn't create that many cards as I used to make. I worked on a secret project as well :). Yesterday our youngest niece was born and I made her a quilt. I used reproduction 30's fabrics and the result is a colourful scrap quilt. A lot of work but the result makes worth all the effort!
Enjoy your weekend!

Quilt
I haven't produced many cards lately due to study and work. But also because of another huge project I started last autumn: a quilt for our nephew Luuk! He was born last week and the quilt was finished just in time. Today I'd like to show this project to you. The quilt is patched and quilted by hand which took many hours, but I loved doing it. Of course I made him a card as well and I made a quick card with some instructions for cleaning the quilt and a nice quote about quilts: Families are like quilts, stitched together one piece at a time.
Do you remember the owl banner I made two years ago? They were for Luuk's big brother. The banner is still very popular at Pinterest. The owls are now waiting to being used by Luuk and I think Tim will use the quilt as well.
Thanks for hopping by!
