After making shaker cards for the Lift Challenge blog (click) I made some more. I used the same design, but instead of using patterned papers I used the stamps from Lawn Fawn's 'Home Sweet Home' and created a little scenery. The background is coloured with distress ink and a water brush.
Coming Sunday our niece turns 5. Lidewij, a woman of my sewing club, designed a beautiful apron for a girl. I asked her to make one for our niece as well. I have chosen some nice fabrics and the apron turned out beautifully. Perfect for little girls in the kitchen. Anita, also part of our sewing club, embroidered the name onto the apron. I'm in love with it. Hopefully she will enjoy it as well!
I made her a shaker card as well. I used Crate Paper's 'Oh, darling' and Lawn Fawn's 'Home Sweet Home' and 'Claire's ABC' for the sentiment.
That's it for today. I wish you a very nice weekend. Thanks for hopping by.
